It also keeps mind healthy. Karate is beneficial for the people of all ages. International shotokan shobukan karate association-Japan is a very reputed organization. The chief of ISSKA-Japan is Kancho Masaya Kohama. He hold black belt 8th Dan and JKF Kumite & Kata champion and his branches are in 29 countries all over the world. ISSKA-India affiliated to ISSKA-Japan. The chief of ISSKA-India is Sihan Kalpesh Makwana He hold black belt 6th Dan and he is also “A” Grade Refrree of All India Karate Federation. His branches in all over India. He is also the chief of South Asia. ISSKA-India is a member of Asian Karate Federation and World Karate Federation, recognized by Indian Olympic Association and Govt. of India (Dept. of Youth & sports affairs) it is also approved by Karate Association of India (KAI). ISSKA-West Bengal affiliated to ISSKA-India was established in 09th September 2014 and works all over West Bengal and it’s office is in B-13/146,Kalyani,Nadia,Pin-741235.
The Chief Technical Director of ISSKA-WB is Sensei Asim Chongder, asst Technical Director Ajay Roy Chowdhury It is a Karate development organization which works Schools, Colleges, clubs and many institutions. Isska-WB motivation is to make people health conscious, physical and mentally development. Self defense drill for females and children. Its target is to develop martial art in all sectors. Development of karate is very much important in India because we frequently see that, many evil incidents like eve teasing, snatching, hooliganism occurs all over the country. Therefore there is a great need for self defense for everyone. So our motivation is also to make a protest against such evil deeds.
